Places To Eat in Tunis:  La Closerie (The Small Estate)

La Closerie was established in 1992 and offers a comfortable and relaxing piano bar located on a well maintained park that provides a beautiful garden like setting with a myriad of trees and bougainvilleas.   The setting provides a poolside terrace during the warm months, and covered rooms during its cooler months.   There is ample parking for customers with a capacity for about 100 guests.  Aside from serving dinners, it also caters to more individualized events such as cocktail parties, seminars, official dinners for associations and post wedding dinner events.

The restaurant offers a variety of international entrees.  Some of their appetizers include salmon salad, roman salad, melon & ham, Italian plate and squid and artichokes.  Their entrees include Genovese spaghetti, seafood spaghetti, 4-cheese fettuchini or with shrimp and olives, ravioli with spinach and nuts, farfalle (bows) with salmon.  Their other specialties include a wide range of beef, seafood and fish dishes such as lemon scallopini, picatta with mozerrela, roasted fish, saltimbocca (with scallopini & prosciutto).

The restaurant prides itself in providing personalized attention and service to its customers.   It has a reputation for making their guests feel at home, and their chefs delicately prepare their culinary specialties.
