CARLTON HOTEL - TUNIS
The Carlton Hotel in Tunis is a three star hotel located downtown, within walking distance
to the old medina and the Tunis theatre. The business and banking district is just minutes away
from the hotel, and the airport is conveniently located only about 10 minutes away by shuttle or taxi.
The Carlton was built in 1926 and fully renovated in 1994, and fully redesigned in 2002.
There are 82 rooms, and two suites. They all come with satellite tv, direct international phone,
& fully equipped bath rooms. There's a 1000 square meter shopping center that's conveniently
situated on the ground floor of the hotel, as well as a restaurant and cafeteria. Aside from the
noticeable improvement in the overall ambiance of the hotel, there have been added redesigns including larger
sidewalks and cafes on the terraces.
